Bellavenue Manor Opening

Dan and I attended the soft opening event at Bellavenue Manor a few weeks ago for our friends Mark, Nick, and Lynn. If you have been to McConnelsville, you might have heard of them. Mark and Nick are the lavender guys, and Lynn is the crystal lady. They are a dynamic group of creatives who have cultivated a few unique spaces and events in Morgan County.

Let's talk flowers first. We have some fantastic spots in town with lavender plots growing on them, so when you wander around our beautiful streets, you might come across them, and we will be getting a lavender garden ourselves here at the Inns at 8th and Main, hopefully by next fall. That is Mark and Nick, or Bellavenue Manor.

This past summer, there was the Frist Friday Flower Market at Old Bridge Brewing Company. It quickly became a beautiful and fantastic event that opened the door to showcase several local creatives and other area flower farmers.

Then there are porch posies. In the summer, you can easily drive up to their front porch, drop a few bucks in a basket, and leave with a fantastic bouquet of fresh-cut flowers grown by Mark.

There is much more to say about Mark and Nick, but I need to talk about our new friend, now Morgan County resident Lynn, and her crystals. We met her last January through, of course, Mark and Nick.

Just FYI, Mark likes to throw parties at other people's houses. They invited Lynn to the Winter Wellness event here at the Inns at 8th and Main.

If you have never tried a crystal healing or a breathwork session, I suggest you try it with Lynn. Lynn is the owner and crystal healer of Elevating Consciousness, located in Bellavenue Manor. She has a remarkable gift and ability.

If you are into crystals, you must see all the beautiful pieces showcased at Bellavenue Manor. If you are not, I promise you will be, and you need to stop by and see the fabulous displays and let Lynn share some of her knowledge of crystals with you. I am getting a collection of crystals myself here at the Inn.

Be sure to check out both of their Facebook Pages. The guys share information on lavender and upcoming events, and Lynn shares information on crystals and forthcoming workshops. I might even be able to hook you up with some private shopping or workshops too.

So my friends, if you have been to Morgan County, you have experienced the great breath of fresh air flowing through our entire county. If you haven't, please spend some time here, look below the surface, and get to know the great people of our community. Oh, we love repeat visitors too.

See you soon,
Amy~Your Favorite Innkeeper
