Business travel in Southeast Ohio does not always have to mean a standard hotel stay.

Before opening The Inns at 8th & Main, I spent years traveling in the corporate world myself. I understand what it feels like to spend long days working, return to a noisy hotel, and never quite feel settled. That experience shaped how we designed our stays today.

Cozy living room with fireplace and TV at Lavender House, a boutique extended stay option in Southeast Ohio
After a long day of work or travel, Lavender House was designed to feel less like a hotel and more like a peaceful place to land.

At The Inns at 8th & Main in historic McConnelsville, we have intentionally created spaces that land differently for longer visits, project-based work, healthcare travel, and regional business stays.

Guests often appreciate:

  • private suites and whole-house stay options

  • peaceful evenings after long workdays

  • walkable small-town charm

  • high-speed Wi-Fi

  • flexible extended stay options

  • washer/dryer access at Lavender House

  • laundry service available for longer stays

  • direct communication and personalized hospitality

Many business travelers today are looking for something calmer, quieter, and more personal than a standard hotel experience. Whether visiting Southeast Ohio for healthcare, consulting, project work, or regional travel, The Inns at 8th & Main offers a more thoughtful place to stay near Zanesville, Marietta, and Cambridge, as well as some of the most scenic drives in Southeast Ohio.

Because sometimes, after a long day of work, a peaceful place to land and a scenic drive home matter more than people realize.
