The pet policy for The Inns at 8th and Main We charge $35 per pet per day for additional cleaning. The fee will not a apply to guide dogs or assistive dogs (management has a right to ask for validating identification). At The Inns at 8th and Main, we understand that your four-legged family members are an important part of your life. We are delighted to welcome your dogs in The Maria Suite located in the Morris House. To ensure a pleasant stay for all of our guests, please take a moment to review our pet policy. The Inn limits the number of dogs to no more than two and size of your dog to no more than 40 lbs. All dog guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations. Advance dog reservations are required since the Inn has limited accommodations for pets. We ONLY have ONE dog-friendly suite. Guests are not permitted to bring dogs into any other lodging unit or common areas. Further, no dogs are permitted on the patio or in the dining room during breakfast. Dogs must be leashed while outside the suite. 1. Dog-Friendly Accommodations We gladly provide dog bedding and bowls for your convenience. To maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our accommodations, we kindly request that dogs are not allowed on furniture or guest linens. All dogs must sleep in their crates, carriers, or a pet bed. 2. No Cats Allowed Due to potential allergies of our guests, we regret that we cannot accommodate cats on our property. 3. Well-Behaved Dogs Only dog guests who are quiet and non-aggressive toward other pets and people are invited to the Inn. The dog owner guest hereby agrees that the Inn is held harmless for any loss or injury or accident suffered by your dog while a visitor at the Inn. The dog owner also hereby agrees that any damage or injury caused by their dog to our property or other guest pets, or to any persons is the sole responsibility and liability of the pet owner. We prioritize the safety and comfort of all our guests. We do not permit aggressive or excessive barking dogs on our premises. If you have concerns about your dog's behavior around other people or pets, we kindly request that you leave them at home or make alternative arrangements for their care while staying with us. 4. Cleanup Guests accompanied by dogs are responsible for cleaning up after their dog; a trash can for waste disposal is located behind your suite cottage or cabin. Please use the plastic bags provided. 5. Dogs Not to Be Left Unattended Dog guests are not to be left unattended in the guest room at anytime, unless they are in a cage. In order to preserve the peace and serenity we offer, dogs cannot be allowed to bark and disturb other guests. 6. Grooming and Cleaning We kindly ask that all dogs (and their owners) arrive well-groomed prior to check-in. A $50 cleaning fee will be applied in the event of excessive fur left behind in the accommodations. Any additional property damage will be subject to our normal policies. 7. Pet Inclusion on Reservations Please include your pet when making your reservation and acknowledge our pet policies. Any pet not included on a reservation or brought into the Inn without prior permission will be subject to a $100/pet fee. Additional cleaning fees for unauthorized pets may also apply. Any violation of this policy will cause eviction of the dog and owner of the premise. You will be responsible for lodging costs. Note: A written copy of the pet policy will be signed by the guest upon check-in. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our pet policy.
